Coordinate WASH sector capacity mapping

Capacity mapping can take various forms, depending on the process objectives and timeframe. A standard methodology is proposed by the GWC, with the following specificities:

  • It is based on a modular approach, so can be adapted to any timeframe.
  • It sets up clear objectives for the mapping, based on the priority needs observed during the needs assessment phase
  • The whole WASH sector is taken into account, including local markets and local communities’ capacity, and not only the humanitarian WASH actors capacity
  • No labels
