Monitor response progress against strategic indicators
Based on the strategic objectives of the Humanitarian Response Plan, a WASH Operational Response Plan is established with sector/cluster objectives and the targeted population (number and categories of beneficiaires) are agreed by WASH Cluster / Sector partners. Strategic indicators are the ones defined in the HRP and more specifically in the WASH Operational Response Plan’s monitoring plan, used to monitor the achievement of the strategic objectives. Many of them can be measured using 5W matrix, but some might be focused on quality, or capacity building, and will require to triangulate 5W data with other tools.
