What is it about

One of the core functions of the coordination platform is to “inform HC/HCT’s strategic decisions”, by providing them by providing them a clear analysis and prioritization of WASH humanitarian needs. .

The WASH coordination platform will first set up an assessment strategy and develop a list of core indicators standard for the response to define the type of data required harmonize the way data is collected. The assessment strategy relies on two main sources of data that need to be gathered and analyzed throughout the HPC: secondary data (i.e. data collected by actors such as national governments, development organizations, other clusters, etc.) and primary data (i.e. data collected by or for the coordination platform itself).

What is the objective

  • Ensure the WASH response is based on evidence to optimize available resources

At least you should do...
